Job summary

San Juan Unified seeks an Instructional Assistant II for Inclusion at the Mariposa site (6 hours/day, 0.75 FTE). This role supports students with mild/moderate needs in Resource, Learning Handicap, or Communicatively Handicap programs and assists the teacher across settings including Special Day Class and General Education.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students in Resource, Learning Handicap or Communicatively Handicap programs.
• Ability to run small groups and support teacher needs in various classroom settings.
• Willingness to obtain a California Class C Driver License within 30 days of hire if required.

Responsibilities

• Run small groups and assist students in large groups.
• Support the teacher's planning and instructional needs.
• Assist in General Education and Special Day Class settings as needed.
