Harford County Public Schools is seeking an Inclusion Helper at George D. Lisby Elementary School to support students with severe disabilities and assist teachers with instruction, modifications, and data recording.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE

• Provides support to students during instruction; provides modifications and accommodations.

SALARY

• This is a full-time ten-month position. Salary range based on the FY 2026-2027 HCEA-ESP Salary Schedule for Inclusion Helper Personnel.Starting Salary: $ 24,705– Maximum Earnings Potential $ 36,878. Those who are entering or returning to employment with Harford County Public Schools will begin on Step 1.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• High school diploma or minimum educational standard established through federal legislation.
• Possess strong verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Able to meet physical requirements of position which are considered essential job functions, with or without accommodation, by passing pre‑employment exam. Such requirements directly support students and include, but are not limited to, squatting, kneeling, and ability to lift and transfer students weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Experience working with students with disabilities preferred.
• Specific skills as dictated by the needs of the students.
