Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with endorsements or DOI-related training.
• Competency in the core academic subject area assigned.
• AED and CPR certification for Physical Education teachers (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned to district curriculum with accommodations for individual differences.
• Plan instructional strategies and use appropriate materials and technology per TEA and district policies.
• Assess student learning styles and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Collaborate with special education teachers to modify curricula per IEPs.
• Coordinate goals with staff and supervise instructional aides or volunteers.
• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and manage student behavior.
