Job summary

Amergis Staffing is seeking an After School Program Behavior Technician to support educational and behavioral services for children and adults with special needs in the San Diego area. The role collaborates with school staff and specialists to reach learning goals, with a schedule around 1–6pm and roughly 22 hours per week.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, 2 years pediatric experience preferred, CPR if applicable, and required health screenings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of pediatric experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest X-ray if applicable.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate educational and behavioral services for children and adults with special needs.
• Collaborate with school professionals and other behavioral specialists to achieve learning goals.
• Support implementation of learning and behavioral objectives in after-school settings.
