Job summary

Sibanye-Stillwater in Fairless Hills, PA is seeking an experienced Incineration Lead to oversee daily incineration operations in the Thermal Destruction Department. This hands-on leadership role supports operators, monitors equipment, and ensures production, environmental, quality, and safety standards are met in a demanding industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Demonstrated leadership or senior operator experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting.
• Experience operating industrial equipment such as incinerators, boilers, or similar machinery.
• Strong organizational skills, data entry ability, and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support daily incineration operations within the Thermal Destruction Department.
• Operate incinerator equipment and assist with troubleshooting and minor maintenance.
• Support training and day-to-day guidance of operators and department personnel.
• Record before and after weights of material lots processed through the equipment.
• Review startup checklists to ensure equipment and systems are operating properly.
• Record operational temperatures hourly and maintain accurate production logs.
• Monitor incinerator, boiler, baghouse, and scrubber systems.
• Identify irregularities, malfunctions, or safety concerns during operation.
• Coordinate workflow to support production schedules and targets.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas per procedures.
• Enter production and operational data into tracking systems.
