Job summary

Xcelerate Solutions seeks an Incident Response Analyst to support CyberPRIMES cybersecurity, privacy, records and information management for DHRA. The role requires an Active Secret clearance and collaboration with government stakeholders across multiple environments.

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and five years of experience; U.S. citizenship is required, and a Secret clearance may be necessary for certain duties. Location: Alexandria, VA and Seaside, CA.

Responsibilities

• Support preparation, detection, analysis, containment, eradication, recovery, and post-incident activities for cybersecurity events and incidents.
• Respond to incidents affecting NIPR and SIPR environments and support evidence collection and preservation.
• Coordinate with SOC analysts, cybersecurity service providers, system owners, and government stakeholders.
• Maintain incident records, timelines, evidence, and status updates; ensure required reporting.
• Support after-hours response with one-hour recall when assigned.
• Monitor and analyze across SIEM, endpoint, firewall, IDS/IPS, web-security, antispam, malware-prevention systems; detect intrusions and support remediation.
