The Risk & Response Team for TikTok USDS is a multi-disciplinary team focused on risk detection, prevention, and handling in the United States. The team maintains a safe online environment by monitoring threats, ensuring legal compliance, and managing online content implications.
As a USDS Trust & Safety Incident Manager, you will manage high-priority escalations and emergent risks, requiring leadership, strategic thinking, and collaboration across regions. Your role includes designing responses to emergencies, detecting and removing harmful content, and conducting post-incident analyses to improve strategies.
This role involves exposure to objectionable content such as bullying, hate speech, child abuse, sexual assault, and more. Daily exposure to harmful content may occur.
The position is hybrid, requiring in-office work 3 days a week in Los Angeles, CA or San Jose, CA, with a rotating schedule from Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday. It includes participation in a 24/7 on-call schedule, including holidays.
Minimum: Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 4+ years in incident management or related roles, decision-making skills, excellent communication, experience with sensitive content, leadership in cross-functional teams.
Preferred: High integrity, technical aptitude, global incident management experience, specialized in CSEA cases, data analysis skills, resilience, and adaptability.

Compensation ranges from $88,000 to $142,222 annually, with benefits including health insurance, 401(k), paid leave, and more.
