CareNow, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Clinical Medical Assistant to join our patient-centered team in Chantilly. The ideal candidate provides expertise and champions patient care, collaborating with colleagues to deliver high-quality urgent care in a fast-paced environment.

You will prepare patients for examinations, take histories and vital signs, assist with injections, phlebotomy, and room preparation; support physicians with splints, dressings, transfers, and scheduling follow-ups; and

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a clinical patient setting preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting program (BOTP) required.
• Certification from the AAMA is helpful.
• Ability to obtain federal screening certifications within 30 days.

Responsabilités

• Prepare patients for examination by taking histories and vital signs.
• Prepare exam rooms with instruments and maintain supplies and equipment.
• Administer injections and assist with lab testing and phlebotomy.
• Assist physicians with splints, dressings, and bandages.
• Assist with transfers and scheduling follow-up care.
• Coordinate patient physicals and workplace injuries for partner accounts.
• Screen calls for referrals to physicians and practitioners.
