Job summary

Regions Bank is seeking an Incentive Analyst to administer corporate incentive plans, develop reporting from incentive applications, and support sales performance analysis. The role provides moderate supervision and requires collaboration with management and technology teams.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree with related experience or a high school diploma plus six years of incentive experience. Onsite at the Riverchase complex in Hoover, AL with regular office hours.

• Audits and validates results between the systems of record and end results as needed
• Responsible for ad hoc analysis as requested
• Uses prescribed guidelines or policies to analyze and resolve problems
• Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction

Job Description:

At Regions, the Incentive Analyst helps to administer corporate line of business incentive plans. This position develops and provides reporting from incentive applications, with moderate supervision.

Primary Responsibilities

• Conducts analysis required to recommend plan design changes and to help with sales performance
• Develops models to determine incentive plan payouts
• Interacts with various levels of management concerning incentive plan design and payouts and sales performance
• May work as a liaison with technology/vendors and end users to address user issues
• Audits and validates results between the systems of record and end results as needed

• Uses prescribed guidelines or policies to analyze and resolve problems
• Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of related experience
• OR High School Diploma/GED and six (6) years of incentive experience

Preferences

• Banking experience
• Experience with Systems, Applications, & Products in Data Processing (SAP) Commissions software
• Database reporting with tools such as Crystal Reports and Structured Query Language (SQL) Reporting

Skills and Competencies

• Demonstrated ability to learn software/business intelligence tools
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills
• Intermediate analytical skills
• Must be detail oriented, with the ability to multitask
• Proficient Microsoft Office Suite skills and a strong working knowledge of Access and PowerPoint

This role balances adherence to established controls, treatment methodologies, and governance expectations with a strong understanding of overall objectives, using common sense and risk-basked critical thinking to address nuances or evolving situations.

This position is intended to be onsite, now or in the near future. Associates will have regular work hours, including full days in the office three or more days a week. The manager will set the work schedule for this position, including in-office expectations.

This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
