Job summary

Nike, Inc. Beaverton, OR is offering a 10-week internship in Global Supply Chain & Operations, providing hands-on experience across Product and Marketplace Supply Chain.

You will work on real projects, guided by senior leaders, and develop your data analytics, storytelling, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment. About the Role

The Global Supply Chain & Operations (GSCO) team is seeking interns with an interest in supporting its global and geo supply chain network and connecting how products are made and moved to serve consumers across the marketplace. Interns contribute to high-priority, real business initiatives aligned with the NIKE, Inc. strategic roadmap and take ownership of a project scoped to drive impact with guidance from senior leaders and experienced managers. Opportunities are available across Product Supply Chain, which modernises production processes and works with manufacturing partners, and Marketplace Supply Chain, which provides supply chain and fulfilment services to enable the Nike consumer experience. The internship is designed to challenge critical thinking, develop skills, and foster collaboration while contributing directly to team goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to high-priority, real business initiatives aligned with the NIKE, Inc. strategic roadmap.
• Take ownership of a scoped project designed to drive impact, with guidance from senior leaders and experienced managers.
• Create metrics, KPIs, and evaluation frameworks to influence Nike's Sourcing & Manufacturing strategy.
• Optimise new processes for geo-distributed forecasts.
• Conduct supplier capability landscaping.
• Map processes and establish partner engagement models.
• Conduct data analysis and market research on the quality of key apparel, accessories, and footwear styles to support operational excellence.
• Streamline the risk assessment process.
• Build tools such as Tableau and Smartsheet to automate processes and visualise data.
• Support operation model building.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Enrolled in an undergraduate programme with an expected graduation date of December 2027 or Spring 2028.
• 0-2 years work experience.
• Ability to build and elevate data-based decision-making models and storytelling across supply chain.
• Skilled with analytical tools (SQL, Tableau, Excel, Power BI, etc.).
• Strong project management, data analytics and strategic thinking skills.
• Ability to analyse problems, develop innovative solutions, and deal with frequent changes in priorities.
• Ability to work cross-functionally, influence other teams, and leverage internal and external resources.
• Growth mindset, inquisitive, and process-oriented mindset.
• Compelling, high-impact storyteller with the ability to influence at multiple levels throughout the organisation.
• Self-directed and comfortable working in ambiguous environments.

Preferred Skills

• Background in Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Analytics, Manufacturing, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Business or a related field.
• Python/R.
• Interest and/or experience in machine learning and AI through coursework or other means.
• Supply Chain operations and retail industry knowledge.

Workplace

• In-person at the NIKE, Inc. Philip H. Knight Campus in Beaverton, OR.
