Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Ops Associate II to support inbound activities. The role requires selecting orders, performing quality checks, and preparing shipments in a fast-paced environment.

You will be trained to operate material handling systems, lift heavy items, and work with various warehouse equipment while maintaining safety and accuracy. The schedule includes early morning hours and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
• Frequently lift 50 pounds or more.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift.
• Comfort working with heights 20-30 feet regularly.
• Previous material handling equipment experience (PIT) strongly preferred.
• RF scanner and/or voice-pick experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow established SOPs to process orders including picking, quality checks, sorting, consolidating freight, building and wrapping pallets, packing, loading, and preparing orders for shipment.
• Pick large case items with material handling equipment or pick small unit items and place on designated cart.
• Cross-train in multiple areas of the warehouse and participate in projects as needed.
• Utilize WMS to check in and/or send out products.
• Drive material handling equipment as required (e.g., forklift, pallet jack).
• Complete housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Work on routine assignments that require problem resolution.
• Participate in associate meetings and communicate concerns to management.
• Follow OSHA standards and company policies.
