Job summary

Suburban Accessories in Dayton, OH seeks an Inbound Warehouse Associate to unload, verify, and stock products for efficient warehouse operations.

You will help maintain accuracy, safety, and organization, supporting cross-training across warehouse functions and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Consistent work history and attendance record.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift, parts picker, and powered pallet jack experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload vendor trucks, receive products, and verify against purchase orders.
• Inspect, stock, rotate, and restock inventory following FIFO and Dock-to-Stock practices.
• Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety standards.
• Perform cycle counts, inventory checks, and resolve variances.
• Manage returns, trouble table items, and support quality control processes.
• Assist with order picking and cross-train across warehouse functions.
• Cross-train for other roles within the warehouse to maximize efficiency.
• Participate in physical inventory, daily huddles, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Adhere to Suburban Automotive Service’s DRIVEN values and align practices with SAS mission.

As an Inbound Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for offloading inbound vendor products while checking for the quality and accuracy of the product. Product will be received against purchase orders and staged on shelves, floors, or racking lines to support efficient picking practices. The position includes assisting in other departments as needed.

SalaryOverview:
The pay rate for this role starts at $18 per hour based on experience.

Hours:

The hours for this role are Monday through Friday 8:30am-5pm

Inbound Warehouse Associate Working Conditions and Physical Demands include:

• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently.
• Must be okay with walking and standing for extended periods.
