Job summary

Imperial (IDI) in Worcester, MA is seeking an Inbound Support Associate to help move materials, operate reach trucks and transporters, and support inbound warehouse teams during daily operations. You will handle totes, pallets, and carts, maintain clean work areas, and contribute to a safe, organized environment.

Schedule is Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri, and Sat, 9am–5:30pm. A High School Diploma or GED is required, with basic computer and math skills, and the ability to follow English instructions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer skills, including login and following on-screen instructions.
• Warehouse experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and understand basic written instructions, numbers and product codes.
• Ability to read and understand basic information in English.
• Basic math: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Ability to follow instructions from headset, scanner, computer or paper pick sheet.
• Ability to read and work with alphanumeric codes.

Responsibilities

• Utilize reach truck and transporter to support inbound teams.
• Move totes and products upstairs using reach truck on carts.
• Sweep surge areas and empty trash in surge and bulk areas.
• Move and bring pallets in and out of production areas.
• Move full carts from stations to staging area and return empty carts to stations.
• Remove empty pallets from lines and learn to operate reach truck and transporter.
• Use handjack to move pallets, totes, or pallets throughout warehouse.
• General housekeeping of the work area.
• Other duties as assigned.

At Imperial, we sell, distribute, and service General Merchandise, Seasonal Products, and Health/Beauty/Wellness Products to our customers. The Inbound Support Associate supports warehouse operations by safely transporting materials, equipment, and products throughout the facility. This role assists inbound teams by moving totes and carts, supplying workstations, and organizing pallets and materials across multiple warehouse levels. Responsibilities include moving full and empty carts, clearing empty pallets, and performing general housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe work environment. This position requires attention to detail, strong teamwork, and a willingness to learn and operate warehouse equipment such as reach trucks and transporters.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

• Utilize reach truck and transporter to support inbound teams.
• Send totes and products upstairs using a reach truck on carts.
• Sweep surge areas.
• Empty trash in surge and bulk area trash/compactors.
• Bring plastic pallets and wooden pallets down from production mod (2 nd or 3 rd level)
• Move full carts from cut stations to staging area.
• Bring empty carts back to cut stations
• Remove empty pallets from lines.
• Must learn to operate reach truck and transporter.
• Utilize handjack to move pallets of product, totes, or pallets throughout warehouse
• General housekeeping of work area.
• Other duties and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic computer skills, including ability to log in and follow on screen instructions.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required
• Ability to read and understand basic written instructions, numbers, and product codes
• Ability to communicate and understand basic information in English
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Ability to accurately follow instructions from a voice headset, scanner, computer, or paper pick sheet
• Ability to read and work with alphanumeric codes
