Job summary

RJW Logistics Group in the Chicago area is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead a team responsible for moving products safely, accurately and on time. You will set the tone on the floor with a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity, while coaching associates to excel.

The role requires at least 3 years of warehouse supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment, plus hands-on leadership, planning, and effective communication with internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse supervisory/managerial experience in distribution or logistics.
• Ability to lead a diverse team with safety, accuracy, productivity and attendance standards.
• Experience planning labor and tasks in a high-volume operation.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Strong communication to coordinate with internal teams and external partners.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and hands-on leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of warehouse associates to meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Plan, prioritize and assign daily work to align labor and equipment with volume and commitments.
• Ensure orders are picked, staged, loaded and shipped accurately and on time.
• Oversee documentation and system transactions (BOLs, manifests, receipts, adjustments).
• Champion safety and quality culture and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Customer Solutions and other supervisors for smooth handoffs.

Schedule/Shift: Monday - Friday / 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Hours may vary based on business needs)

Salary: $60-$70k annual

As a Warehouse Supervisor at RJW, you lead a team that keeps our customers’ products moving safely, accurately and on time. You set the tone on the floor, bringing a strong focus on safety, quality and productivity while developing the associates who make it all happen.

What You Will Do

• Lead, coach and develop a team of warehouse associates to meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Plan, prioritize and assign daily work to align labor and equipment with volume, service commitments and customer requirements.
• Ensure all orders are picked, staged, loaded and shipped accurately, on time and in compliance with customer specifications and RJW standards.
• Oversee accurate, timely documentation and system transactions (BOLs, manifests, receipts, adjustments and other required paperwork).
• Champion a strong safety and quality culture on the dock and in the warehouse, driving continuous improvement.
• Partner with Customer Solutions/Customer Service and other supervisors to resolve issues, ensure smooth shift handoffs and deliver a consistent experience for associates and customers.

What You Bring

• Minimum of 3+ years of previous warehouse supervisory/managerial experience in a fast-paced distribution or logistics environment.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team while holding high standards for safety, accuracy, productivity and attendance.
• Experience planning labor and work assignments in a high-volume, deadline-driven operation.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS); strong overall computer and data entry skills.
• Clear and confident communication skills – able to set expectations, give feedback and partner effectively with internal teams and external partners.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and a “roll up your sleeves” approach to supporting the operation.
