Job summary

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® of Ocean Township, NJ is hiring an enthusiastic, customer-focused individual for an in-office sales role. You will use strategic selling to build relationships and close moving service deals, while providing top-notch customer service.

This full-time position offers a base salary of $40,000–$55,000 annually with monthly commissions; average first-year earnings are around $45,000+. Schedule is Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturdays, and benefits include PTO, dental and

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and strong problem-solving ability.
• Professional attitude with an optimistic outlook on life.
• Exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• A minimum of 6 months of sales and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Computer skills; familiar with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive energy and top-notch customer service
• Acts as the first point of contact for new and existing customers to establish a rapport and build confidence in TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® services
• Asks open-ended, probing questions to determine customer requirements and expectations
• Input customer information accurately into move software to create an estimate
• Makes recommendations according to customer's needs on moving services, boxes, supplies and equipment and other value-added services; may recommend alternate services and/or products based on cost, availability, or customer specifications
• Continually maintains thorough understanding of all company products, services, pricing and promotions to effectively communicate the benefits and value of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® and oppose any customer objections
• Obtains customer feedback through regular follow-up calls, both during and after moves to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction
• All other duties as assigned
