Beacon Media + Marketing is seeking an Inbound Sales Representative to engage with inbound leads and close sales. We are looking for a competitive and trustworthy Inbound Sales Representative to help us build up our book of business. This job requires independence and autonomy. The individual performing the job will be required to take action without guidance, and close follow-up or supervision of the results by others. A successful candidate will be comfortable with high-level, strategic thinking and analysis, and rapid decision-making. The work focuses aggressively on goals, and sticking to those goals even in the face of adversity. Persistence and determination are required to keep moving toward the goal.
The work does not require great attention to the details of how to get there; the position is about taking action, forcefully and quickly. Constant changes and challenges require that decisions be made often without precedent or an abundance of information. New ventures will be undertaken at a speed that requires decision-making before all the facts are in, before what’s being undertaken can be “proven” to be successful. Self-confidence and strong personal resolve are necessary to keep constant forward progress.
The job requires a keenly task-focused individual to analyze situations, systems, and problems. Different problems will arise daily. Success depends on examining the problem, putting together seemingly disparate elements, and arriving at quick solutions. Holders of this position will need to speak frankly and directly, not “holding back” or mincing words. This person will need to follow-up to ensure that things were completed correctly, digging into the details only to a minimal extent, and only when necessary to get things back on track. Achieving results is critical. This job requires a proactive nature and strong individualistic drive.

Evaluating customers’ needs by asking a lot of strategic questions
Finding new opportunities with our existing niches that we might not have explored yet
Working closely with the team to achieve effective results
Putting together quality proposals that address prospects' goals and marketing needs (not just what the client says but understanding what they really need)
Conducting extensive, consistent, and persistent follow up with leads
Client retention and upsells
Giving sales presentations mostly via Zoom and closing sales
Giving reports about the sales performance
Negotiating on contracts/deals
Attending exhibitions on behalf of the company
Having a solid understanding of marketing concepts and language
Experience in marketing sales to small and medium-sized business owners
Good communication skills (verbal and written)
Familiar with MS Office and willingness to learn new technology
Good understanding of the marketing principles
Knowledge of inbound sales best practices
Respect for teammates and clients
Ability to travel 3-5 times per year
We have offices in Anchorage, AK (our HQ) and Reno, NV. We are hiring local or remote for this position.

We offer quarterly profit sharing, flexible work hours, Flex Fridays, unlimited PTO, 401k plans with employer matching, as well as medical, dental, and vision insurance. This job pays between $46,000-$180,000 per year, that includes salary and commission. This is a Draw vs. Commission position for the first 6 months with a review and the potential to move to a salary + commission position. DOE plus benefits.
