Position Summary

Kongsberg Discovery is seeking a dedicated and passionate junior-level Inbound Sales Coordinator to join our team. This role will involve working closely with Sales Representatives and Regional Sales Managers in handling after-market products and spare parts orders. Responsibilities include order entry, preparing customer quotes, internal coordination, and customer follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

Sales and Order Management: Process sales orders, prepare and follow up on quotes, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Customer Support and Issue Resolution: Handle and resolve complaints, provide technical and product information.

Data Management and Systems Coordination: Maintain customer and order information in ERP and CRM systems.

  • Update and maintain customer and order information within our ERP system and CRM software, ensuring data accuracy and streamlined workflow.
  • Collaborate with other departments and regional offices to ensure consistent service delivery and efficient order processing across different locations.

Cross-Department Collaboration: Work with logistics, procurement, and technical support to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications And Education Requirements

  • At least some technical background is required.
  • Bachelor's degree or equal in a relevant field such as Oceanography, Marine Science or related is preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and Customer Relationship Management systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.
  • Ability to assess complex situations and find effective solutions for both customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive and remain composed in a fast-moving global environment, with a strong capacity to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • A strong understanding of the technical aspects of underwater mapping products, hydrography, or marine technologies is an advantage.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics AX is a benefit.
  • Technical background, preferably with underwater products or systems is a plus.

Pay Range: $25.00 – $31.00/hr. USD plus overtime (DOE)

Work Location requirement: Lynnwood, WA

(may have the opportunity of 2 days remote within commuting distance to Lynnwood)
