Join Mutual of Omaha as an Inbound Sales Consultant and turn inbound calls into closed deals. In our fast-paced Direct Sales Call Center, you won't be fielding service calls - you'll be working with inbound leads to assess needs, overcome objections, and recommend insurance solutions that protect what matters most. You're a great fit if you: Are energized by hitting (and exceeding) sales goals Thrive on overcoming objections and stay positive in a competitive call center environment Enjoy fast-paced conversations where your solutions make a real difference Our call center operates Monday - Friday from 6:30 AM to 8:00 PM CST and Saturdays from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM CST. Shifts will vary based on business needs, so flexibility is key. Potential shifts: Monday - Friday 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM CST Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM / 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM CST Rotating Saturdays every 5 weeks. Training classes begin July 18th.

WHAT YOU'LL DO: * Handle inbound sales calls: Answer customer calls, stay updated on policies, and encourage sales while documenting requests. * Assess and sell insurance products: Understand callers' needs, recommend additional financial services, complete phone applications, and refer leads as necessary. * Follow up with customers: Reach out to offer extra coverage and maintain relationships with existing customers. * Ensure confidentiality and compliance: Protect customer information and maintain necessary insurance licenses, following all company standards.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING: * Obtain and maintain insurance licenses: Must have or be able to secure life, health, and accident insurance licenses within the specified timeframe. * Proven sales experience with strong closing skills: Demonstrated success in a sales-driven environment, preferably in call center or insurance sales. Must be comfortable handling objections, asking for the sale, and guiding customers toward tailored solutions that meet their needs. * Deep knowledge of insurance products: Understand product descriptions and policy language, and effectively market these offerings. * Proficient in computer skills: Comfortable multitasking with software. Ability to set up and troubleshoot equipment as needed for a remote work environment. * This position will require you to provide your own high speed internet connection with 50 megabits per second is required and 150 megabits is recommended for best results. * You promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do. * Ability to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and in a listed location.
