Inbound Retention Specialist - Sales - US Remote - Western Region

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Customer Success Representative to support, consult, and retain our small business advertisers, providing a 5-star experience. This role involves supporting clients post-sale, highlighting ad performance, and managing escalated issues with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide exceptional customer support to strengthen revenue retention.
  2. Handle inbound calls, consult, and educate advertisers.
  3. Demonstrate the value of Yelp advertising through performance metrics.
  4. Manage escalated client issues with listening and conflict resolution skills.
  5. Become an expert in Yelp’s advertising solutions and adapt recommendations accordingly.
  6. Maintain strong communication internally and externally.
  7. Stay organized and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Achieve or exceed monthly goals.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or 3+ years relevant client-facing experience.
  • Proficient with computers and information systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience in account management, sales, advertising, or small business (preferred).
  • Passion for supporting local businesses.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle tough conversations professionally.
  • Open to feedback and adaptable to a fast-changing environment.
