Job summary

Space Coast Credit Union (SCCU) is hiring an Express Service Associate at Baytree Headquarters in Melbourne, FL. You will handle member calls, conduct loan interviews, cross-sell SCCU products and open new memberships to drive retention and profitability.

You will analyze loan applications and data to match members with the right product, enter applications in the origination system, and maintain high-quality standards while meeting productivity goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 to 3 years prior experience in sales and customer service or consumer loan processing/interviewing.
• High School plus additional course work gained through attendance at vocational, technical or business school or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle outgoing and incoming member phone calls, conduct loan interviews, assess member needs, and cross sell other SCCU products and services.
• Opens new memberships and looks for opportunities to add-on deposit products for existing members to ensure retention and profitability.
• Analyzes loan applications, credit bureau reports and member account data to match the member to the appropriate product or service and maximize loan and add-on.
• Enters the loan or new account application in the loan origination system in accordance with required data entry procedures to meet established quality standards.

Express Service Associate Key Responsibilities

• Handle outgoing and incoming member phone calls, conduct loan interviews, assesses member needs, and cross sells other SCCU products and services. Provide fast, friendly, effective service to the members.
• Opens new memberships and looks for opportunities to add-on deposit products for existing members to ensure the retention and profitability of members.
• Analyzes loan applications, credit bureau reports and member account data to match the member to the appropriate product or service and maximize loan and add-on.
• Enters the loan or new account application in the loan origination system in accordance with required data entry procedures to meet established quality standards. Monitors pipeline to follow up on pending applications, collects required documentation, and keeps members informed throughout the loan/account process.
• Meets established productivity standards to ensure efficiency.
• Participates in regular product, system, and compliance training to maintain knowledge of changes in policies, procedures, and product offerings.

Express Service Associate Requirements

Minimum 1 to 3 years prior experience in sales and customer service or consumer loan processing/interviewing. Telephone sales preferred.

• High School plus additional course work gained through attendance at vocational, technical or business school or equivalent experience.

Express Service Associate Compensation

• Starting Salary: $24.74 - $26.20/hour or $51,450 - $54,505/year plus monthly commission
• Bonus Opportunity: Eligible for ONE SCCU Annual Bonus.

Work Schedule

• Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
• Rotating Saturdays: 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
