Inbound/Outbound Logistics CoordinatorLocation: Newark, DelawareSchedule: Full-TimeCompensation: Up to $22.00 per hour (based on experience)A day in the lifeYour shift begins in a clean, climate-controlled shop where precision matters. You review the morning pick list, print labels, and walk the floor to coordinate what must ship and what just arrived. A forklift beeps as you move pallets to staging; a quick inspection catches a dinged corner on an inbound crate, which you document and flag. By mid-morning you and a teammate rebuild a crate using hand and power tools, then secure a finished order with proper packaging and labeling. After lunch, you finalize bills of lading, update inventory transactions, and make a run in the company van to transfer parts. You wrap the day by tidying your bay, logging cycle counts, and confirming everything is queued for tomorrow.When you’ll work1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:30 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.What you’ll doHandle shipping and receiving activities with a focus on safety, accuracy, and efficiency.Load and unload trucks; verify counts and paperwork; organize materials for smooth flow.Clean containers and components to remove debris or contaminants before processing or shipment.Operate material-handling equipment—forklifts, pallet jacks, pickup trucks, company vans, and, as trained, overhead cranes—to move product through the facility.Package, crate, label, and secure orders so they travel safely to customers.Build and repair wooden shipping crates using basic carpentry techniques and common tools.Complete all documents precisely, including receiving records and bills of lading.Support inventory accuracy with timely transactions, material moves, cycle counts, and location organization.Inspect inbound materials for damage or discrepancies and report issues promptly.Collaborate with production, quality, purchasing, and other teams to keep schedules on track.Keep work areas clean, orderly, and compliant with all safety procedures.Follow written and verbal instructions with close attention to detail.Work overtime when needed to meet production and customer deadlines.What you bringValid driver’s license (required).Experience in shipping/receiving, warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics (preferred).Forklift experience (preferred); we provide training for qualified candidates.Basic carpentry capability; comfortable with hand and power tools.Solid organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.Accurate, legible paperwork skills for shipping documents.Basic computer familiarity for inventory and shipping transactions (preferred).Comfort working independently and as part of a team.Strong attention to detail and quality mindset.Reliable attendance and a safety-first approach.Able to follow both written and verbal instructions.High school diploma or GED (preferred).Successfully pass a pre-employment physical, lift assessment, and drug screening.Physical demandsLift up to 50 lbs independently; use forklifts, overhead cranes, or other equipment for heavier items.Stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.Work safely around manufacturing machinery and moving materials.Pay and benefitsPay up to $22.00 per hour, based on experience and qualificationsFull-time role with overtime opportunities40 hours of paid vacation after the first six monthsThree weeks of paid vacation during the first yearEleven paid holidaysFour paid personal/sick days during the first yearMedical, dental, and vision insuranceHealth Savings Account (HSA)Company-paid life insurance401(k) with company matchAnnual wage increases and performance incentivesCareer growth and advancement opportunitiesClean, climate-controlled manufacturing facilitiesWhy DuHadaway Tool & Die ShopFor 65+ years, we’ve delivered precision work with integrity.
