Job summary

WebstaurantStore is seeking an Inbound Material Handler in Dayton, NV to unload deliveries, check in inventory, and stock items into warehouse racking. You will use forklift equipment and internal systems to receive stock accurately and prepare items for storage.

Cross-training opportunities may be available. The role requires basic warehouse experience, the ability to operate forklifts, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 1 year of distribution/inventory experience preferred but not required.
• No degree required.
• Must be able to operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and order pickers.
• Strong verbal and written communication and English proficiency.
• Ability to work 10-hour shifts, alone or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Unload live domestic deliveries from trailers using forklift equipment or unload import containers by hand.
• Use internal systems to receive inventory accurately and efficiently.
• Move palletized products with forklift equipment to organize the receiving dock or transfer to other areas.
• Scan and place inventory in racking locations using forklift equipment and handheld scanners.
• Maintain inventory by replenishing stock, verifying product accuracy, and supporting warehouse operations.
• Manage overstock, investigate discrepancies, adjust inventory records, and complete routine inventory control tasks and reporting.
• Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners, computers) following safety protocols.
• Meet performance standards for efficiency, accuracy and quality.
• Keep a clean, organized, and safe work environment; report hazards to leadership.
• Collaborate with team and leadership to meet daily/weekly/monthly goals.
• Follow company and warehouse policies; cross-train into other positions as needed.
