Job summary

Rocky Brands Career Opportunities in Sparks, NV is seeking a Distribution Center Associate to support the Distribution Center Management Team. You will schedule inbound containers, complete FTZ documents, and help ensure inventory accuracy from receipt to shipping.

Shift hours are Monday through Friday, 6:30am to 3:00pm, with pay at $24 per hour. You will check-in containers, perform FTZ security checks, report discrepancies, and maintain MSDS books while promoting a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of distribution or warehousing experience.
• Intermediate level of Microsoft Office Suite and PKMS Warehouse Management system.
• Ability to operate all material handling equipment.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees.
• Flexibility to cover other shifts during absences.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule inbound shipments.
• Check-in containers and perform necessary FTZ security checks.
• Report any discrepancies between actual receipts and documentation.
• Follow up on any Go Orders to ensure issues are resolved.
• Promote a safe work environment.
• Maintain and report any factory miss packs.
• Backup for critical roles on the floor to assure continuity during absences.
• Ensure all products are accounted for and moved to appropriate area.
• Monitor inventory issues throughout the facility and report problems to shift inventory clerk.
