Job summary

Sysco is seeking a Warehouse Equipment Operator in Anchorage, AK to operate and maintain warehouse equipment and support receiving processes. You will ensure safe equipment use and proper handling of goods as they move through the warehouse.

The role requires two years of warehouse experience and adherence to Sysco safety policies. You will report equipment issues promptly and help maintain a safe, efficient work environment in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Conform to appropriate equipment (i.e., tugs, forklifts, pallet jacks) operation rules and practices to reduce accidents and injuries.
• Guarantee that assigned equipment is maintained and clean; report repair or service needs to the manager to reduce equipment damage.
• Observe all safety rules, regulations, and sanitation policies to reduce accidents, injuries, and equipment damage.
• Use equipment horns when driving out of storage areas, into obstructed view areas, and when entering walkways or row intersections to reduce accidents, injuries, and equipment damage.
