Job summary

A. Duie Pyle is seeking a part time Inbound Dockworker to join our team in Williston, VT. This role is responsible for safely transporting freight and verifying documentation. Prior forklift experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Experience operating forklift or material handling equipment, preferred.
• Experience in warehousing, freight, or logistics, preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak English; communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading freight on trailers using appropriate equipment – forklift or electric pallet jack.
• Picking, staging, and securing freight inside trailers to insure safe transport.
• Utilizing document management system to track and monitor freight shipment locations throughout the terminal.
• Communicating with terminal personnel and drivers.
• Maintain a flexible schedule, including day and night shifts, weekends and or holiday work.
• Operating with a customer service first mentality.
