Saia is seeking a Warehouse Associate to sort, load and unload freight across road equipment and dock operations. You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, following DOT rules and safety standards to protect shipments.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, U.S. work authorization, and the ability to read, write, and speak English for shipping documents. Shifts may include nights, weekends, and holidays, with physical lifting up to 100 pounds.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
• Operates dock tools to secure and prepare freight for loading/unloading.
• Verifies shipments by reading labels and securing freight for loading and unloading.
• Maintains safety, logs shortages and damages, and reports variances.
• Follows DOT regulations and ensures a clean, safe work environment.
