Job summary

University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine in Tyler, TX is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine physician to serve as the inaugural Emergency Medicine Residency Program Director. This role leads the development and implementation of a new residency program at UT Health East Texas facilities, home to the region's only Level I Trauma Center.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with board certification by ABEM or AOBEM.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as PD, APD, or core faculty.

• Lead and Direct the Emergency Medicine Accreditation process
• Program Administration
• Resident Recruitment/Selection
• Resident and Faculty Supervision
• Fostering a scholarly and collegial learning environment
• Educational Oversight to ensure curriculum compliance meets accreditation standards
