Job summary

JAX in Gainesville is seeking an In Vivo Technologist II to support preclinical pharmacology studies in oncology, neurobiology, and autoimmune disease areas. Under limited supervision, you will perform advanced bio-methods and contribute to study timelines with proactive communication.

You will mentor colleagues, help prepare for inspections, and ensure QA through documentation, data entry, and adherence to SOPs. Weekend and holiday shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in bio-methods
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Experience in preclinical studies a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform basic bio-methods and complex procedures as required.
• Accurate data entry in lab IT systems and databases.
• Maintain lab sanitation, consumables, reagents, and equipment calibration.
• Mentor staff and support audits.
