Job summary

AbbVie’s Gastrointestinal/Immunology Discovery Research group seeks an experienced invivo and in vitro pharmacologist to advance therapies for inflammatory GI disorders. The role focuses on PD effects of experimental medicines using GI-relevant assays.

The candidate will design, execute, and interpret studies in colitis and humanized mouse models, lead data analysis, and present findings to internal teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree with bench experience in GI/inflammation biology
• Experience with in vivo GI mouse models and human tissue handling
• Strong experimental design and data interpretation skills

Responsibilities

• Design, execute and analyze in vivo pharmacology studies in colitis or GI mouse models
• Perform in vitro assays and work with human tissue samples
• Lead data analysis, formulate conclusions and present results to teams and stakeholders
• Prepare and contribute to regulatory documents
• Communicate findings effectively at internal/external meetings
