Job summary

Astellas Pharma is seeking a highly motivated scientist to join the in vivo team in Cancer Biology, Westborough, MA. You will plan, execute, and interpret in vivo studies—alongside ex vivo assays—to identify novel oncology targets and advance candidates through the pre-DC pipeline.

Qualifications

• AALAS certification and hands‑on experience with in vivo study management software such as Study Director or StudyLog.
• Solid experience with oncology tumor models and in vivo studies.
• Proficiency in basic molecular biology and histology workflows.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on in vivo dosing, tumor measurement, sample collection, and monitoring in mouse models.
• Coordinate study logistics, randomization, and humane endpoints per IACUC protocols.
• Plan and interpret in vivo genetic or pharmacological perturbation studies to elucidate mechanisms.
