Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Scientist in In Vivo Pharmacology within the Neuroscience TRC, based in Cambridge. You will perform and direct in vivo studies in mice, including dosing routes, tissue collection, and PD/readouts to drive program decisions.

The role involves managing CROs and serving as a pharmacology representative on multi-disciplinary teams, with a focus on rigor, reproducibility, and rapid translation to clinical concepts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of academic and/or industry experience.
• Master’s Degree with 3+ years of academic and/or industry experience.
• Ph.D. or equivalent advanced degree in the Life Sciences. No experience necessary.

Responsibilities

• Performs and directs in vivo pharmacology studies in mice, inclusive of in-life dosing (IV, SC, IP, PO, ICV), tissue collection, and tissue processing.
• Performs and analyzes pharmacodynamic (PD) and efficacy readouts, including mRNA/protein expression levels, neuropathology, transcriptomics, and physiology.
• Manages in vivo studies conducted at contract research organizations (CROs).
• Serves as an in vivo pharmacology representative on program and platform teams.
