Job summary

Aequor in Ridgefield, CT is seeking a Scientist II in vivo focused on Chronic Kidney Disease research to join a multidisciplinary team. The role requires hands-on execution of CKD in vivo studies, data collection, and interpretation with minimal supervision.

You will work on CKD/CRM models, perform rodent dosing, ensure IACUC compliance, and contribute to protocols and reports. The position includes weekend coverage on a rotating schedule and a strong emphasis on data integrity and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s with 3+ years in related scientific discipline; pharma/biotech/CRO experience desirable.
• Non-PhD applicant required.

Responsibilities

• Initiates and completes routine in vivo CKD studies with minimal supervision.
• Assists design and execution of non-routine CKD/CRM in vivo experiments; conducts exploratory studies.
• Complies with IACUC governance; maintains SOP-compliant records.
• Applies basic study design and data interpretation; performs literature searches and protocol extraction.
• Independently operates and maintains lab equipment; troubleshoots as needed.
• Communicates work clearly orally and in writing; contributes to protocols and reports.
• Maintains data integrity and ethics in reporting.
• Rotational weekend/holiday coverage as needed; scheduling is flexible.
