What you'll need to have
• 5 years of experience working in a retail and/or logistics role on a tactical and operational level, including previous management experience leading others with a proven record of successful leadership of people and business.
• Experience working through others, setting priorities, delegating responsibility, and providing open and honest feedback.
• Experience setting and implementing action plans, providing clear direction, and following up on stated goals.
• Experience meeting agreed budgets and goals, and working on plans over several years.
Your responsibilities
Contribute to a seamless customer experience with a safe, effective, and efficient goods flow process by taking direct responsibility for the following:
• Securing a living capacity plan and an effective, qualitative, and efficient goods flow process, including goods receiving, replenishment, and order fulfillment, to enable an excellent customer shopping experience through maintaining the Self Service warehouse, product quality, and on-time order fulfillment.
• Ensuring the highest goods availability to enable customer order fulfillment at the lowest possible cost, in collaboration with external service providers and internal partners.
• Contributing to the development and implementation of local business and logistics action plans.
• Securing close cooperation and strong communication with transport planning departments to optimize inbound and outbound deliveries.
• Contributing to achieving long-term profitability in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way by taking relevant actions to lower environmental impact.
• Promoting an environment where the IKEA culture is a strong and living reality that embraces diversity among co-workers and customers.
