Job summary

Best Buy in Peoria, IL is looking for a Retail Sales Associate who will be the face of our stores, helping customers find the right tech products and services. We’ll train you to confidently recommend solutions that meet each person’s needs.

You will learn through ongoing training while delivering friendly service to every customer. You will welcome customers, perform product demos, handle cashier duties, stock the floor, assist with in-store and curbside pickup, and adapt to a flexible schedule

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience working in retail or another fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage with customers in a warm, friendly manner
• Perform product demos, answer questions and make recommendations that meet customers' needs across all departments
• Complete cashier duties for purchases, returns and exchanges
• Maintain appropriate knowledge and expertise through ongoing learning and development
• Help keep the sales floor clean and well stocked
• Assist with in-store pickup and curbside pickup orders
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends
