Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking an In-Store Sales - Floater in Curtis Bay, MD. The role supports customers via phone orders, tracks shipments, and assists the Outside Sales team. You will promote gas and hard goods while maintaining accurate customer records and pricing.

The position requires a high school diploma and 1+ year in customer service or sales, along with the ability to lift 50lbs. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of Customer Service / Inside Sales / Counter Sales preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• No DUI/DWI or other alcohol-related convictions in the last 10 years.
• Knowledgeable with Computers / Printers.
• Able to lift 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provides customer support by taking phone orders, addressing inquiries, tracking order status and shipments and solving customer issues.
• Assess and recommend products while promoting additional sales of hard goods and gases to achieve target margins.
• Conduct product demonstrations for customers using customer insight to drive and guide the development of new offerings.
• Works closely with, and provides, sales support to the Outside Sales team.
• Maintain customer records and files, including accurate account setup and pricing.
• Performs warehouse duties and moves cylinders for customers as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
