In Store Sales - Backup CDL Delivery Driver

Location: Twin Falls, ID

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a customer service-oriented associate for our retail branch. Responsibilities include handling customer inquiries, selling products to walk-in and preferred customers, and occasionally delivering compressed gas cylinders, hard goods, and related products to customer locations (local route). Backup drivers must be able to handle freight during deliveries, prioritize safety, and deliver excellent customer service.

What you will be doing:

• Assist customers by taking phone orders, addressing inquiries, tracking order status and shipments, and resolving issues
• Assess customer needs and recommend products, promoting additional sales of gases and hard goods to meet margin targets
• Conduct product demonstrations using customer insights to develop new offerings
• Support the Outside Sales team with sales activities
• Maintain accurate customer records, files, account setup, and pricing
• Perform warehouse duties and move cylinders as needed
• Deliver products, making approximately 10-12 stops daily, handling freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service
• Count and record quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up accurately
• Complete hazardous material shipping paperwork in compliance with DOT regulations
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Identify vehicle repair and maintenance needs
• Build relationships with internal and external customers to meet business and customer goals
• Continuously expand your knowledge of Linde’s operations to support organizational growth
• Perform other duties as assigned
