Anthropologie in Bridgewater, NJ is seeking a Personal Stylist to elevate the store’s service and selling culture by building authentic connections, offering expert styling advice, and providing a personalized shopping experience with curated product recommendations.

The role focuses on relationship building, driving appointments, and using brand resources to educate the team and customers on styling benefits, while partnering with leadership to drive in-store performance and brand engagement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience building customer relationships or clienteling.
• Passion for apparel styling.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Uphold a service culture that makes every customer feel welcome, heard and valued.
• Lead by example in relationship building, styling, and networking with customers.
• Create impromptu and formal appointment opportunities to cultivate customer relationships and drive key metrics.
• Encourage use of technology to transact, upsell, and engage clientele.
• Foster an inclusive environment by amplifying all voices and seeking diverse perspectives.
• Identify knowledge gaps and coordinate styling initiatives or trainings.
• Share brand styling knowledge to boost associate confidence in servicing customers.
• Review store performance to understand buying trends and influence outfitting decisions.
• Capitalize on walk-in traffic and collaborate with leadership to drive incremental sales.
• Work with the visual team to update mannequin displays for new arrivals and best sellers.
• Support zoned personal styling hours and maintain a customer-first focus.
• Share customer insights with leadership and styling teams via brand platforms.
• Build productive relationships with leadership and selling teams for collaboration.
• Contribute to team morale through brand initiatives and recognition.
• Collaborate with leadership on events reflecting local interests to boost brand engagement.
