Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Retail Party and Event Host in New Jersey to plan, coordinate, and facilitate engaging events such as children's birthday parties within our Michaels store. You will deliver friendly customer service, support event operations, and engage with guests of all ages.

Ideal candidates have retail or customer service experience and a passion for creativity and teamwork. Responsibilities include coordinating multiple events, assisting customers, and maintaining store standards

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience required.
• Must have experience working with children and children’s events.
• Must have good communication skills including written, verbal, and nonverbal communication as well as listening skills.
• Must have organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and creative problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and host events within the Michaels store.
• Engage guests of all ages and deliver friendly customer service.
• Facilitate craft activities and ensure a positive guest experience.
• Support store operations and event logistics, including setup and teardown.
