Job summary

Jimmy John’s in Vernon Hills, IL is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee daily in-store operations and back-of-house paperwork. The role requires leading by example, maintaining 100% integrity in procedures, and bringing enthusiastic, positive energy to the team.

You will assist with prep, manage rushes, train new employees, and coordinate weekly audits while working closely with the General Manager to meet store needs.

Qualifications

• Ability to work a minimum of 35 hours a week.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Ability to handle fast-paced and high stress situations in the store.
• Organize and establish priorities in the store with minimal supervision.
• Ability to key close (or key open based on the store's individual needs).
