Job summary

Fleet Farm is seeking a Firearms Specialist in-store expert for firearms and ammunition sales. You will educate customers, assess needs, and recommend products while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws.

Responsibilities include handling paperwork, training customers on safe firearm use, assisting with product ordering, and operating POS and licensing systems. Must be 18+ with background check; prior firearms sales experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and pass a background check.
• Strong communication and customer-service mindset.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Educate customers on firearm functionality and parts operation.
• Teach and train customers on safe firearm use.
• Complete all local/state/federal paperwork required for firearm sales.
• Assist customers with finding and ordering products.
• Operate Point of Sale and DNR licensing system.
• Promote Fleet Farm loyalty program and credit options.
