Job summary

Fleet Farm is seeking a Firearms Specialist to be the in-store expert for firearms and ammunition, educating customers and guiding purchases while ensuring safety and compliance.

Responsibilities include explaining firearm functionality, assisting with product selection, processing required paperwork, and maintaining stock and store policies. The role requires 1–2 years of firearm sales experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to work flexible hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–2 years firearm sales or related experience preferred.
• Able to work flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Team Members who handle or sell firearms must be 18+ and pass background checks per federal/state laws.

Responsibilities

• Educate customers on firearm functionality and safety.
• Teach and train customers how to safely use firearms.
• Complete all required local/state/federal paperwork for firearm sales.
• Assist customers with product search and ordering.
