Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years of experience related to food and cooking or experience in sales, product demonstrations, or cooking in a professional environment.
• Degree in culinary arts, nutrition, home economics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Connect with customers using a hospitality model to build loyalty.
• Participate in store events, create themed recipes, and cross-merchandise.
• Offer menu planning advice and scale recipes to customer needs.
• Conduct cooking demonstrations and engage customers with culinary conversations.
• Answer culinary questions and suggest substitutions for dietary needs.
• Suggest beverage pairings and tailor visits based on customer wine preferences.
• Develop relationships by remembering dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Support in cooking classes, wine education, and dinner events when applicable.
• May conduct Connections floor demos.
