Job summary

Columbia Sportswear Company is seeking a Retail Associate to deliver exceptional in-store experiences. You’ll be the brand ambassador, engaging customers, answering questions, explaining product features, and recommending options while maintaining visual standards.

No degree is required; up to two years of retail experience; capable of lifting up to 40 lbs; flexible schedule and teamwork are essential, with opportunities to learn about our brands and discounts.

Qualifications

• No specific education required; High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2 years of experience in a position or specialization or less.
• 16 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to consumer questions or issues regarding product features, benefits, and availability.
• Engage with customers to understand needs and preferences and recommend suitable options.
• Maintain store standards for visual merchandising, cleanliness, and safety.
• Retrieve merchandise from the sales floor, stock room, or other inventory locations.
• Process all cash register transactions (sales, returns, exchanges, loyalty) accurately.
• Support store profitability by handling and moving product flow efficiently.
