Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Beauty Advisor to deliver an exceptional guest experience in a fast-paced retail setting. You will engage guests, perform demonstrations, assist with appointments, and maintain store standards while driving sales and loyalty program participation.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and at least 1 year of relevant experience, with strong communication and teamwork skills to thrive in a beauty-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates a passion for guest service and selling.
• Proficient with basic technology (POS, Apple devices).
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Ability to troubleshoot.
• Work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding store goals for retail and service sales, guest loyalty, omni-channel sales, and shrink.
• Greet and engage guests, tailor service to needs, answer product questions, highlight promotions, and suggest additional Ulta Beauty items.
• Handle customer service, sales, refunds, and exchanges; assist with online orders.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales and guest experience.
• Book appointments and support services and in-store events to deliver an exceptional guest experience while meeting sales goals.
• Maintain knowledge of products and services to better serve guests.
