Job summary

Ag Partners is seeking a full-time In-Shop Mechanic at our Goodhue shop to keep trucks and equipment running safely and efficiently. Typical hours are 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., with overtime during peak seasons; some field work and service truck duties may be required.

The role involves diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, independently assessing repair needs, and working as part of a team with a focus on reducing downtime while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Independently assess repair needs and determine effective temporary or long-term solutions to minimize downtime.
• Support field repairs or operating the service truck as scheduled or needed as a back-up to Mobile Service Mechanic.
• Communicate repairs and equipment condition clearly with drivers and supervisors.
• Meet all safety requirements and maintain professionalism on the job.
