Job summary

Airbus is seeking a Repair Engineer to support in-service aircraft repairs, designing structural repair solutions from a design perspective. You will work with static stress and fatigue teams to ensure airworthiness and customer satisfaction, using multiple Airbus applications to develop efficient repair instructions and drawings.

The role emphasizes collaboration with various departments to deliver quality repairs, while traveling up to 5% domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering with emphasis on structural design or mechanics of materials.
• 3+ years total design/analysis experience in airframe design/repair programs.
• Experience in metallic and/or composite airframe structural repair.

Responsibilities

• Support the In-Service Daily Repair and Major Repair teams.
• Create or modify simple to routine repair tasks autonomously.
• Review and interpret damage reports and develop quality repair solutions.
• Create or modify technical documents using Airbus tools with high quality and efficiency.
• Interface repair requirements with customers and suppliers.
