Terms of Employment: 9 months; 35 hrs/week

Job Goal: Provide supervision and academic/behavioral instructional support to students assigned to the ISS room and office assistance

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Consistent and punctual attendance
• Provide academic/behavioral instructional support to students
• Supervise students in In-School suspension, assist with proctoring standardized assessments such as NeSA and MAPs Tests
• Able to work with technology, i.e., e-mail, Microsoft Office, internet, etc.
• Develop positive relationships with staff and students
• Formulate and implement individual student academic plans
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to support and implement building policies
• Assist with office staff duties as needed
• Operate office equipment as needed
• Document preparation and filing responsibilities as needed
• Prepare assignment requests and collect homework
• Assist Administrators with several duties (i.e. worker lists for upcoming events, maintaining the RschoolToday calendar, and concession stand inventory)
• Other duties as assigned
• Ability to work with a variety of students with different learning styles
