Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher or pass the test stipulated by the Louisiana State Department of Education. Some previous experience working with children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complies with State Law and District policies and regulations.
• Maintains a safe environment for students, conducive to learning.
• Establishes, shares, and maintains standards of pupil behavior to achieve an effective learning atmosphere.
• Keeps and maintains appropriate records and files as needed for the ISS room (attendance and assignments).
• Assist administration in collecting and returning teacher assignments for students in ISS.
