Waldorf Astoria New York is seeking an In-Room Dining Order Taker to deliver the light and warmth of hospitality in a luxury setting. You’ll handle Room Service calls, take orders with care, and input them into the POS system accurately to ensure a flawless guest experience.

• Answer calls promptly: Respond to Room Service telephones and guest requests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner
• Take orders with care: Capture food and beverage orders and input them into the point-of-sale system without errors — attention to detail is key
• Master the menu: Learn the details of all menu items, promotions, and specials so you can help guests and answer their questions with confidence
• Upsell Offerings: Suggest and promote food and beverage items such as sides, desserts, drinks, and special promotions
• Process payments with accuracy: Reconcile checks, including verifying check totals and gratuity disbursement, and handle cash according to accounting guidelines
