Highgate Hotels at E11EVEN Club Hotel & Residences in Miami seeks an In-Room Dining Server to take orders, relay requests to service and kitchen teams, and deliver amenities to guest rooms. This role emphasizes guest service, accuracy, and upselling of promotions.

The position requires a high school diploma and 1–2 years of hospitality or order-taking experience, with weekend/holiday availability. Full-time hourly employment with benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years experience in hospitality as a telephone operator or order taker.
• Strong customer service orientation and beverage knowledge.
• Ability to multitask with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate with guests and anticipate needs.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Answer IRD telephone calls within three rings with standard greeting and guest name.
• Take guest orders accurately and clearly, highlighting special requests.
• Post orders correctly in the POS system for kitchen/service teams.
• Promote promotions and daily specials; upsell where appropriate.
• Maintain knowledge of the In-Room Dining menu and hotel services.
• Communicate with kitchen about questions, wait times, and availability.
• Provide accurate delivery times and update guests as needed.
• Assist with tray setup, delivery, and amenity delivery to rooms.
• Coordinate with other IRD staff and Minibar Attendants.
• Handle payments, balance receipts, and end-of-shift cash deposits.
